THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE SO PLEASE READ IT CAREFULLY

As many of you know from my previous post, on April 19th 2025 Twitch will be implementing a new highlight limit of 100 hours of footage. After this date, any of your highlights over this time will be automatically deleted. And if you're over this limit at this very moment you will no longer be able to create highlights until you go under 100 hours. As a result of this, we have concluded that Twitch is no longer a safe/reliable way of uploading and preserving run submissions.

Which is why in order to maintain legitimacy of the boards, as of today the 1st March 2025 we will no longer be accepting Twitch highlight submissions.

If one is submitted, you will be contacted via SRC asking to provide an alternate source, if one is provided we will do the work in replacing that link. If one is not provided or no contact happens we will sadly be rejecting the run.

ANY Twitch videos submitted or accepted before this announcement are SAFE (even if the video ends up getting removed) except for the top 3 runners of each category. We will be contacting all top 3 runners across all categories and asking you to change your run to a Youtube/Bilibili link in order to try and maintain the top times for each category.

We're going to give top 3 runners until 1st July 2025 to take the time to make these changes. We understand that it takes a lot of time to altar what might be multiple runs or videos.

While we are only contacting the top 3 runners of each category, all your runs are important and have a right to be kept on the boards. This will help maintain legitimacy, as well as maintaining generally the most up to date runs and strategies for people to learn from.

We're sorry that we have to do this, but Twitch hasn't really left us much of a choice in the matter.
