In the level the sacrifice its possible to not have to kill the second dinosaur and just get the door open while the second dinosaur and the centipede fight. (However this is really hard to pull off sometimes because if the dinosaur locks onto you then you have to kill it)

In the level Hayes In the last part of the level kill the two dinos first then run up to hayes burn the fire then grab the thompson then walk back to the door area and kill the last dino there. (From what i found this is faster than just killing the dino on the platform where hayes is)

In swamps after the first babysit section run ahead to the last part where the fire is located. (You need to get there quick enough so your pals dont die before you hit the checkpoint)

In any kong stage if there is a edge it is much quicker to just throw the v rex off the stage as it skips the animation of kong breaking the v rexes jaw.

In the level chased by Kong when you get to the section where you have to burn the bushes you can actually just squeeze through the left side of the bushes saves about 10 seconds.
