Whenever I enter deep woods from a new file navi almost never shows up only around 10% of the time so I can’t preform navi dive can someone tell me reasons why this is happening the version I’m playing on is a PAL N64

From the OoT discord: If Navi is available, she will appear on C-Up 30 seconds after loading into an area, except for certain areas like dungeons. She will stick around for 2 minutes, but after that she will expire. This happens even in areas where she doesn't appear on C-Up. Once she expires, she won't come back for almost 20 minutes. You can reset this timer by dying, or savewarping. If you're using the practice ROM, you can use the Call Navi feature in the File menu to make her appear on C-Up despite her timer.

The numbers may differ on PAL as most speedrunning knowledge is based around NTSC, but the mechanics should be the same.
