Hey all, new runner here. I recently replaced my non-functional MP DS cartridge, but don't have a capture card so I'll use emu. I have some questions regarding aspects around the story mode, all boards, individual boards, all minigames RTA and 100% categories before I start practicing runs.

What DS emus are allowed and which ones would be the closest/most accurate to a real DS?

Is timing done for everything in general minus Boss Bash as RTA?

All Minigames RTA is just the minigames mode and doesn't include the puzzle minigames right? I remember doing really badly on them as a kid growing up.

Does timing for All Boards end when the last board played shows "You are the Superstar!", and does the timer pause between boards?

Lastly, is there a list or video guide anywhere of everything you need for the gallery in 100% and how to get them? Thanks in advance for any pointers!

DeSmuME is definitely allowed, but not sure otherwise. I think anything other than like, BizHawk should be fine. Not sure whats the most accurate, but im pretty sure you can change some DeSmuME settings for more accuracy, in exchange for more toll on your PC.
