Hey guys! Due to the inactivity of the previous mods, I have decided to step in and become a mod for this game myself!

So, a little bit about me: I am silkychris999, but you can call me Chris. I've done many speedruns in the Madden community already, mostly on 21 and 20. I am also the mod for Madden 15 and 16, so I have experience in modding, and I know what to look out for, so don't try to get one by me, because I will find it.

Also, a new mod means new ideas, so I have a few changes to make to this page:

#1: New Submission Guidelines These are outlined in the main rules if you want to read them later, but you now have to show proof of your run to get it verified (that should go without saying). The type allowed, however, varies, depending on the category.

If the category is Exhibition, Franchise Mode, Gauntlet, and other modes I will reveal later, the only type allowed is a video of the full run, as those are timed, and you can't prove a time with a picture in this game.

If the category is most points or most points allowed, a picture of the final score will also be accepted, for the sake of not killing your internet while trying to upload over 3 hours of content somewhere (believe me, I know the feeling). However, I will be looking through these pictures with a fine tooth comb, and any evidence of doctoring the image (i.e. Photoshopping bigger numbers on a team's score instead of the real one) will be an instant reject.

If you do get rejected for doctoring the image (I will let you know if you are), you can appeal by showing a different picture of the score (this could be the score summary just after the game (since the actual score summary in the pause menu breaks after a certain point) instead of the score on the top of the screen during the game). If this second picture is good, you will be verified.

#2: Teams I will soon be making a way to make it so you can indicate what team you used in the run without having to go into your video. If you have existing runs on this page, don't worry, I will do this for you.

#3: New Categories There will be new categories for you to start running very soon! I have already made a category for the elusive 1 point safety, as suggested by @OnePointSafety. How to do that and how to run it will be in the rules for that category, as many might not be versed in this, as it is an obscure rule in the NFL handbook (Rule 11-3-2-C in the 2022 rulebook if you wanted to read it yourself).

Also, two player categories will be available soon, as well, if you want to grab a friend and run Madden together!

And, for the record, all of these categories (unless I think of something else) will need a video of the full run to be verified.

#4: Retiming I will be retiming every run to make sure they are as accurate as possible. I will provide the software I use in the resources tab, so you can time your runs (not even on this game, either) too. But, I will still check, just in case.

#5: New Theme! The stock standard green look of this page seems kinda basic, right? Don't worry, I got that covered. I have made a new theme for the page, background and all. The colors for the panels and navbar will be some of the exact colors of the cover athletes' teams: the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Kansas City Chiefs. The color codes I use come from a site called teamcolorcodes.com, if you want a look at them, as well as many other teams in many sports.

#6: How to reach me If you want to suggest a new category, ask me something, appeal a rejection, etc., my DMs are always open. Don't be shy to message me. I will get back to you as soon as I can. I am pretty active on here, so I should be able to respond that day. If not, you can just post in the forum, I will get back to you either way.

Due to my interest in how fast folks can complete this part of Madden, I have created 2 new categories:

Gauntlet Champion (Level 40) Gauntlet Champion (6+ Lives)

These are simple categories that will add some new variety to the speedruns and I hope you will all take interest in completing these!

I will be uploading my default times to the leaderboards later, so have fun competing!
