So, I figured I'd ask this community the one burning question I have even after several months of speedrunning this classic- Can the spider possibly be killed in a run without some sort of cheating or TAS? I can land several hits before he just becomes too fast and Lester has to eat damage, and even then Lester dies before it does. Just wondering if anyone had any luck, strats or wild stories involving this troublesome arachnid. Many thanks!
