After 2 weeks of practising: My Goal was to beat the 1:25:00 and i got it.
So, i just copied the run from LegnaX and only lost 6 minutes by running into walls, unnecessary encounters or get lost at the buying menus.
So actually everyone can be at least under 1:25:00 if youre able to skip the enemies turnes and its actually not that hard when you know how. There are also skips for Hagrid in the Nocturn Ally and the Basilisk after the bowling that could also save some important seconds, but i am not able to get them constantly and then it takes even more time. Overall after i got that 2 minutes lead i started playing a little bit saver to finally get a recorded run under the 1:25:00. The old PB in the splits was actually 1:24:04 but i forgot to mute my mike so i could only delete it.
But after all, im really happy how it turned out being even so close to place 4 and maybe in one or two weeks i can even get it.
good luck for everyone whos trying to get this or even to get the first place, there a way to few runners here :D
LegnaX: Nice work on the run! But if I'm honest with you, my "route" is an old one. Jelmeree is actually using the Level 1 Footman strat, which helps saving a lot of time, and he was able to save over a minute compared with my run. My run is just good for the last part of the run where I had crazy RNG. For the rest, jelmeree's one is the best. On the other hand, SMP is the one who has the most experience on this game, as he's the one who has been speedrunning it for over 7 years or more. Anyway, I hope we see more runs from you. Hey everyone. Today we have a small update for you all regarding some changes to the rules regarding recordings of runs.
For a long, long time now it has been a requirement for PC runs to have both clear visuals of the game throughout the entire run (so not hiding any game HUD elements or FPS count
