Can we either add a glitchless category or have a guide on the strats and glitches because I have no idea what's happening
"Most" glitches are the same as from Guacamelee! Gold Edition.
Bagel Thief has posted an okay tutorial online -
It should be noted that Select Door Glitch is slightly different in execution and is not possible on current Steam patch. The DRM-free version on GOG.com should allow for it. Any other questions I can try to field.
Also of note, the Warp Index is different for STCE. You could watch Bagel's runs to get an idea of the different route.
He has done runs. He had not submitted. You can refer to Protongue's for ANy% and Bagel's for his 100%. FriedEel also has a 100% time floating about.
Question: I see people somehow switching to the dead world after doing the SDG, this doesn't work for me, even on the DRM free version, how do I do this? I'm performing it the same as in GE but I don't know what I have to do that's different.
Sorry but I really don't remember which setting it is and you shouldn't have to play through the game first to get this, but you should need to play through a fair amount of the game until you can afford all the costumes. I would advise playing until you have dimension swap and adding a second player to mess around with shadow mode and see if that works. Sadly I've reinstalled Windows on my machine since I played this game last so I don't have any save files to give you. I'll try to be as much help as I can but being brutally honest, I've recently became a father and I can only spare a small amount of my time responding to questions. Don't mean to be rude but if I don't reply right away, don't take it personally, just know I will reply, but it might take a while. :)
Don't know if this is any use but I've looked at an earlier run I've done where the menu is in english and the shadow mode option is "1p & 2p mode" and both anti aliasing and shadow projections are set to "yes".
Thanks for the help. I'll see if beating the game works, if not, I'll have to try messing with the settings a bunch.
