Hey, gamers! As many of you have probably heard, the beta version of GTA: Liberty City Stories was recently made available to the public. From what we've seen, the game is playable and can be completed. A lot of missions were tweaked a bit. While it might be tempting to do a run of this version, we ask you not to submit any runs done on the beta. The beta version of the game is not eligible for runs. This applies to Category Extensions too. However, it might get its own category on the CE boards if there's enough demand for it.

But if you're looking for a new experience, then let us remind you that mobile runs now have their own section. If you ever felt like there's no reason to play on mobile, because it cannot compete with other platforms, now is the best time to reconsider this idea. The change is still quite new, so a lot of categories are waiting for their records. You can be the first.

It's September, and we all know what that means - it's time for September ILs Looking Yummy! Prime time to test some ideas and just get your feet wet before DILD(o).

To celebrate this event, the LCS moderation team updated the rules for IL runs. We highly recommend reading them before doing any new runs. Two main points are: no more IGT and the runner must now show the first cutscene fully faded in before they are allowed to skip it. We are going to make a forum post explaining all of our decisions, but it's not ready yet. Keep reading to find out why.

But the most important part of this update is 70 brand-new levels. That's right, now we have everything. Or at least we hope so. Let us know if we forgot something. Wanted to do taxithon, but was too unhappy you couldn't submit your LCS split as an individual IL? Well, you can now! Love Paramedic? Who doesn't?! Go run it! A fan of RC vehicles, but 1 lap wasn't fun enough? You can choose now! The king of Scrapyard? Show us how it's done! The fastest multiplayer racer? Yup, we got those too! Can kill over 1000 Triads in RC Triad Take-Down? Submit to the special "High Score" category! Yes, we now also offer 4 additional high score categories (RC Triad Take-Down + 3 rail shooters) as an experiment. Go wild.

We have not yet retimed races and time trials from IGT to RTA, but you can expect it to be done in the near future. We will make another news when we're ready. It will also introduce another leaderboard change we're currently working on and a forum topic for both these updates.

Good time of day, gamers.

LCS moderation team decided to rework all of the rules for all categories, including individual levels (ILs). We have new timing rules and new restrictions, especially for the runs that are done on an emulator. Be sure to read them before doing new runs! Old runs are going to be retimed by adding a constant value to them. This process will begin shortly.
