How to time your runs (2024 Update)

Please be sure to read this BEFORE doing a run!

1. Timing starts as soon as you gain control over the character.

2. When you reach the exit of the chapter you are on split as soon as you see the door starting to open and pause immediately after, resume the timer once you gain control over the character in the next chapter.

3. Timing ends once you lose control over the character in the final chapter.

Timing is the same for the The Summoning DLC as well however, in chapter 4 there is an unskippable cutscene that triggers just before the finale in the carnival tent, so please be sure to pause the timer when the cutscene triggers and unpause it when you have control of the player.
