Of course, we are still early days into the DLC being released, but I am very excited (as a spectator, not a runner) to see what it brings to the table for speedruns.

Most would have seen by now that the DLC grants access to many new potent weapons, talismans, buffs, builds etc. that would certainly have their place in existing categories if optimal routing for whats needed can be achieved.

I'd also love to see some new categories open up too. My thoughts on that would be:

DLC Any%. The run starts as normal at the very start of the game but the route would be to kill the necessary bosses to gain acces to the DLC zones (or by any means necessary with glitches or wrong warps etc.) then time ending upon death of the final boss of the DLC.

DLC All Rememberances. Same start point, right at the beginning of the game, gain access to the DLC and then time ending upon acquiring the final Rememberance of the DLC.

Then finally, an updated All Rememberances. Simply the same ruling as the base game runs, except now the DLC Rememberances must now also be acquired.

Either way, if anything comes of it, im excited to see what it will bring and would love to hear other people's ideas on what they think the DLC could bring to the table or any fun ideas for runs that they have.

DLC Any% (DLC completion from a newly created character) has been done by Mitchriz 2 days ago. It's still early but i really hope they create a category for this. Kinda want to try it myself! It will be tough for sure
