I should’ve thought of this strat literally years ago. This jump to do crunch skip is a 2‐frame window (due to the persistent 1 frame of “coyote time” in this chapter), as opposed to being double frame‐perfect for the triple jump down the slope. Way easier.
There are 3 strats that can make this faster. One saves ⁓0.2 seconds, but requires a double jump (frame‐perfect) on the slope to ultFlat and then a lot of tight bunnyhops, so it’s much harder. One involves getting incredibly lucky jumping off some descending collision in ultPillars. And another requires getting a glitchy double‐jump on the upward slope of ultThrow (and then slowing down so you don’t die by overshooting the launcher). I’m not gonna try to also get a run with those, or at least certainly not right now.
