The description says "timer starts when you press enter to play on the title screen" but I’ve seen some runs with their timer starting when they select the difficulty.

Can we clarify the start time rules? I personally think it should be when the difficulty is selected, but just seeing what y’all think. If that’s the case, a few runs need to be retimed.

I have always started my timer on selecting the difficulty... btw leftfornova, I sent you a message asking to be added as moderator for this game so I could help with the board and make things nice for all the new runners

So... was it ever decided if we should start the timer on the main menu or the difficulty select (my preference being the latter)? I'm just curious because I've been getting the itch to speedrun Dogurai again

I agree that it should be as soon as the difficulty is selected. I’m not a mod so I can’t change the rules for the boards but I’m sure that’s fine.
