Hello Shipwrecked 64 Community! From the speedrunning community, itsAddieOfficial is hosting a competition in celebration of the rename of Glitchless category to No Major Glitches. Welcome to the first ever Shipwrecked 64 Glitchless Community Challenge!

Here’s how it works. First, make sure you have joined the Shipwrecked 64 Speedrunning Discord server. You can find this on the speedrun.com page for Shipwrecked 64. Second, you just need the game! That’s all you need to play and compete! Compete during the one week period for two $25 (or equivalent) Steam gift cards.

A few ground rules. No Major Glitches is a category where skips, such as Duncan the Dolphin, respawning to skip certain sections, Husk skip in downpatch, respawning to skip tutorial, and going out of bounds in any way is banned. Movement tech, such as wall bouncing, wall climbing, battery juggling, and text mashing are allowed.

Please check the Speedrun.com rules for this category to make sure you are in compliance with the rules before submitting.

There are some rules for the competition as follows:

• You must follow the rules for No Major Glitchles/Glitchless Skipless as outlined on Speedrun.com. If the glitch is not explicitly banned, it is allowed.

• Only times that were completed during the competition date will be considered for prize rewards.

• You must submit video evidence of your run to be considered for prize rewards.

• You can play on Downpatch or current update.

The event begins right now and last until 11:59PM EST on Sunday, February 16, 2025. First place with the lowest time will be given a $25 (or equivalent) Steam gift card. Second place will be given a $10 (or equivalent) Steam gift card. A special award will also be given for the most improved runner, if you show a clear effort while during runs to go as quickly as possible. This award is subject to change at any time and may not be awarded depending on how it goes during the competition.
