Any% Guide

For the any% route you will want to make it to the bed before the cloud section of the map, and approach the bed without jumping on the front side of the bed, slightly closer to the left side.  If you do this right, you will activate a "super bounce" sending you much higher than a normal bounce would.  Once you activate the super bounce, reset your run and your jump will be preserved.  As soon as you reset, hold to the left and forward until you turn to face the direction of the road, and then hold straight forward.  I am not certain but I think landing on the fan and having it push you closer to the far side of the road is faster than landing on the road itself.  After this simply go straight to the finish, jumping along the way because jumping is faster than running.

A good time using this strategy is around 48 seconds.

# **idk if the world record holder has already found this but the trick saves about half a second or more at the beginning after hitting reset there's a light on the sidewalk if you walk over it and jump while holding run you can land on top of the first orange beach umbrella faster than jumping on the bush.**

The very beginning has a lot of small variations, credit goes to cuffed01 for finding the newest trick.  He found that you can run over the light at the start of the game and jump onto the first umbrella from there.  According to his calculations it saves half a second to a second.  Then jump onto the other umbrellas, skip the dumpster and jump from the umbrella to the bench.  Throughout the whole run you want to jump as much as possible because it is faster than running.  Make your way up and around the corner.  Take the obvious route as quickly as you can with jumping.  Make your way to the bed, and hitting on either side of the bed without jumping will sometimes give you a bigger jump by a little bit, enough that you can easily skip the rotating platform and make it to the terraced structure with the dumpsters.  Run along the skinny line, then drop down without jumping to the island labeled jump with the bed.  Instead of jumping on the bed, hit on the front side slightly closer to the left and you can activate a "super bounce".  This bounce will take you high enough that you can make it all the way to the road.  Afterwards, continue toward the finish, jumping as you go.  A good time using this strategy will be around 1:50 without any mistakes.  My time is 1:49.24, I believe 1:46 is close to optimal.

There is a very difficult strategy involving the bed right on the side of the first building you climb.  I have only ever done it once and on accident, so unfortunately I stopped the run instead of getting a sub 1:40 run.  I don't know how it works but if you land on the bed well you can make it up to the terraced structure saving around 20 seconds.  It is extremely difficult and I never made it again despite dozens of tries.  Maybe there is a more consistent setup that I never found though.
