"Demo" Patch

If you're looking to speedrun, the October 17th release is faster than the Tech Update. To download the old version, follow these steps:

Otherwise, you can boot it up as normal; something to note is that this version is essentially "disconnected" from Steam, so it won't track your hours played and you can't open the Steam overlay and that sort of thing. Otherwise, it plays as normal.

**Why this version?** -- The main reason this version is faster is because of a debug toggle that fast forwards portal animations, score animations, and the tool selection animations. At any time during the game, you can enable this by hitting "3" on your keyboard (not on the numpad), and it will speed up all these animations for the rest of your session, so you'll only need to re-enable it if you close the game. This debug was disabled in the Tech Update, though will be re-implemented in a later update. Additionally, jump spam was nerfed in the Tech Update, and Pomegranate lost an ammo. Thankfully, with the power of time travel, we can reclaim what we lost.

**Version 1:** This is the version that existed before the "Level Editor" was added to the main game.

**Why this version?** -- Well, in this version, the "Black Hole" is much stronger than in the newer version, making levels easier to complete and sometimes even completing levels by itself.
