I'm about to start trying for full game ANY % category. First off, FunnyFoot, that was phenomenal run, so I'm not trying to take anything away from you intentionally, but if we start getting more submissions, I think the primary category should be based off of In-Game Time.

Reasons:

• Quitting and restarting isn't a long process. Maybe takes 3-5 seconds, and if you are falling from higher than lighthouse, you can arguably restart it faster that way.
• Much easier to track for runners. Starting livesplit or re-recording is already a big pain for VR speedrunners
• Pausing the game can give someone time to adjust real life conditions / PCVR link cable / etc... without losing time in the run
• There are very small things that can be adjusted on the map during a run, like the explosive barrel on the car in the canyon area

I do also think that we should consider the main Any% category a 'no major glitches' category. Just because, I know there are things where you can get INSANE height from glitching the hammer. Would love to hear thoughts?

Im fine with resetting but when falling there’s a point where the menu bugs and you need to open steam vr and go back to the game but it is unnecessary. On that note I only require you to retime runs in editing software or something for the time on speedrun.com. You can obviously exit to menu to start runs if that makes it easier or better for you but it isn’t necessary. I will for sure change the name of “ANY%” to “ANY% NMG” this is actually a great idea thank you. If anyone is reading this the current “FLY%” will be changed to just “ANY%”. Pausing midrun is a little too much in my opinion since while pausing the game freezes for a few frames making splicing a run really easy. Also on that same note when you unpause with your hammer in the floor you get launched and would also be really easy to splice runs. It’s fairly easy to detect spicing and I don’t want it to be easier in any ways, and to the person who tried this you know who you are.
