  • Challenge series and reward cars are introduced
  • The wall pursuit breakers (near Zack's chop shop) are fixed, meaning they wouldn't get destroyed while not taking down any cops
  • The pursuit breaker at the spot where in any% you evade chopper in Eyes in the Sky is broken. The model is there, the marker on the map too, but no other indication and going through the model does not cause any effect
  • Changed cop spawns at the start of the cop events. in steam version you would have 2-3 civics behind you in addition to the initial pack, whereas in origin version you would only have the initial pack (so that affects the progression since cop takedown combos)
  • Changed cop spawns in certain events like Training Wheels, eyes in the sky or nick of time: they seem to be delayed so technically you can avoid pursuits on those altogether, whereas in steam version it is only possible on Training Wheels by taking a very certain path
  • You cannot flip cops anymore: a hit that would send a cop flying in the steam version will only shake them a bit while scoring damage in origin version. So pursuit breakers become the only real viable method to take them out.
  • Changed up domination requirements, they became harder (as an example, palm harbor rally, where domination in steam version is effortless with 240sx, while it's quite difficult in origin due to different time requirements)
  • Heavily amped up rubberbanding.
  • On events such as Mystery job or Hot Item it is possible that the inactive cops wouldn't notice you altogether (which would softlock both, since you need to perform evasion)
  • Sometimes certain events are bugged with cop spawns. Either the game does not spawn the initial cop pack at all or it does not spawn additional cops later on (especially noticeable when you have helicopter on you during events that go through pursuit level escalation)
  • No drafting.

Regarding Simrate

Usage of the update Widescreen fix is now permitted, but it is required to have simrate set to 0. As a form of anti-cheat, all future runs will be required to show the WidescreenFix.ini file after the run.
