Toyota Corolla AE86 (Hachi-roku)

Parts:

Engine - Install everything ECU - Install everything Transmission - Stock differencial is usually the fastest, even though it doesn't make sense :) Suspension - Install everything except Adjustable camber plates - this allows you to tune Steering ratio to 1.14 instead of only 1.10 Nitrous - Stage 3 Tires - Stage 3 Brakes - Install everything Weight reduction - Install everything Turbo - Stage 3

Unique parts:

Stage 3: Engine Stage 4: Turbo gives you 2kW more than ECU Stage 5: Weight reduction for Street-X, Nitrous for the rest

Maximum power:

Regular parts - 328.7 kW (if you happen to get 328.9, reset your ecu/turbo setting to default and tune again). It's possible to get more if you only tune ECU and leave Turbo at default, but the car will be slower. Unique parts - 350.8 kW (if you happen to get 351+, reset your ecu/turbo setting to default and tune again). It's possible to get more if you only tune ECU and leave Turbo at default, but the car will be slower.

Circuit and Street-X setup:

Suspension:

Front lowering - lowest Rear lowering - highest (set to lowest for Industrial Parks) Front springs - lowest Rear springs - highest (set to lowest for Industrial Parks) Front shocks - lowest Rear shocks - lowest Front sway bar - lowest Rear sway bar - lowest Steering ratio - 1:14 (without adjustable camber plates)

Transmission:

N/A for Career any%, 6th gear transmission for some IL Sprints, but I don't know any specific ratios.

Aerodynamics:

Front - highest (requires stage 3 bumpers) Rear - highest (requires stage 3 spoiler)

Tires:

Front - highest Rear - highest Brake bias - set it more to front, but it's not important. I like 0.21

ECU:

  • set 1st bar to lowest. This fills all other bars to maximum and also gives the most power.

Turbo:

  • maximize 5-9 bars.

Nitrous:

  • 6 seconds duration is usually the most effective, but 5 seconds might be better on some tracks.

Drag (for any% run):

Suspension:

Front lowering - lowest Rear lowering - highest Front springs - lowest Rear springs - highest Front shocks - lowest Rear shocks - lowest Front sway bar - doesn't matter Rear sway bar - doesn't matter Steering ratio - doesn't matter

Transmission:

N/A

Aerodynamics:

Front - lowest Rear - lowest

Tires:

Front - highest Rear - highest Brake bias - not important

ECU:

  • set 1st bar to lowest. This fills all other bars to maximum and also gives the most power.

Turbo:

  • maximize 5-9 bars.

Nitrous:

  • 4 seconds duration is usually the most effective.

As far as I know, visual upgrades like carbon hoods, scoops, speakers, neons, wide body kits etc. doesn't have any effect on car's performance. The only thing that affects it are bumpers and spoilers. The higher stage you have, the more downforce you can set in Dyno tuning.

Rule update regarding to the newest Widescreen Fix release

The most recent release of ThirteenAG's Widescreen Fix has been shown to have unfair advantages over an unmodified install. Therefore we decided to ban certain options in the .ini file to bypass the issues. Advantages range from different menuing speed, up to a 1.5 second faster transition from the
