I DID IT! Breaking a world record held for three and a half years, I took the new world record by only 1.23 seconds. The timing was incredible, as I'd been struggling to break the 17-minute barrier for a while, so I assumed the world record was still well out of reach. But the run before this one only had me two seconds behind the world record, so getting it here was amazing.
