#Introduction
This is a list of every Pin (flagstick and cup) location and their distances from the Tee (from Front and Back Tees), so that you can minimize the time you spend trying to recall strats based on where the cup is (especially HIO strats). This will also help you in Training so that you choose the correct Pin locations if you are looking to figure out shot strategies for various holes in Tournaments, Ring Attack, or Star Tournaments (remember to use Back Tees and Tournament Greens to simulate Star Tournaments). Note that these locations are with respect to your view from the Tee Box. This is sometimes different than where it would be based on your Approach to the Green. It's sometimes hard to judge exactly where the pins actually are, so they may be off ever slightly. I've also noticed that the grass is mowed slightly differently depending on the pin location such that each pin is always on a corner of a square on the checker pattern.
The game will also adjust your default shot based on where the Cup is (obviously on Par 3s, less obviously on Par 4s or 5s), so if you can glance at the "Distance to Cup", you'll know where you're going and react accordingly. This seems like a lot, but it becomes more intuitive with practice.
Be aware that Tournaments only use Pins 1 & 2 for Lakitu Cup, Cheep Cheep Tournament, and Sands Classic. Pin #3 is added thereafter for Blooper Open, Peach's Invitational, and Bowser Championship. Star Tournaments only use Pins 2-4 - never Pin #1. Ring Attack only uses Pins 1 & 2. For Congo Canopy, Birdie Challenge only uses Pins 1 & 2. 1-On 1-Putt only uses Pins 3 & 4. Other game modes will use all four, so be on your guard!
Please save these images as backups for your reference. These embeds are from Imgur and they may not last forever. I plan to improve my maps for Cheep Cheep Falls and Shifting Sands in the future. And include Congo Canopy as well.
