There are a couple of issues with the categories on this site, i will list them here and hopefully they will be fixed soon.

First of all, this one isnt the biggest issue in the world but still. The difficulties do not have the correct names. again, like i said before, this isnt a huge issue, however it should still be changed.

Second of all, there is no separate category for Single Segment, VS Multi Segment. One reason why this needs to be changed is multi segment has a trick that gives it a huge time save over RTA. the trick in question is called "Resistance Trick" the video explaining it can be viewed here:

Third, each run should have to specify if it is New Game or New Game +. i understand that its easier to tell the difference by just watching the run, however, NG+ has a at least 2-3 min time save over NG, due to grenade launcher, solar gun, big boss mask, and the rail gun. It would not be fair if people doing NG automatically had to compete with people who have an easy 2-3 min guaranteed time save.

Like i said before, i hope these get fixed as soon as possible as i do not want people using an incorrect and unfair leaderboard. Thanks in advance for reading this.

It's very unfortunate because MGS4 is one of the most technical speedruns of all time and people should get credit for their hard work. Plus they also do not have the current segmented WR on the site by Bonobodu.

Also Mr_Snawk, what was ur time for single segment? Thats arguably the hardest way to speedrun this game. (and also congrats!)

Bump for attention. These things should be fixed. Plus, European Extreme difficulty should be removed cause there isn't such thing in MGS4 and the runs should be transfered to Extreme difficulty instead. Very Easy and Easy difficulties should be added as well.

Is there a reason the NG vs NG+ never got separated out? I see you can mark it on submitting a run and filter them but that's not enough is it? Once you beat this game is is permanently NG+? If so then I understand, but if not it still feels unfair to submit a NG run up against all the NG+ runs when they are completely different categories with different methods IMO.
