Decided to Up+A and get missiles for safety, and because I believe it is actually faster to go out of the way to get the first missiles at Brinstar to kill him rather than shoot him 100 times. They also helped with killing the sidehopper in the room after the first door jump.

The first door jump in kraid is still sketchy at my end. The rest of the run was relatively slow as well, particularly due to me failing the second door jump first time and due to me farming for health at the hall before fake kraid.
