I've seen a lot of speedrunners use f3 to find treasure chest and I've always wondered how that is possible. Did some tests with no results. You guys know how speedrunners do that?
kinda
on beach biomes, chests can spawn at 9, 9 on a chunk, such as the stronghold is 4, 4.
rare, but sometimes you you lucky and find one
I would recommend watching these videos by @TheTalkingMime & @Makattak1:
Like Leafpool said, it spawns on 9 9 in beach biomes. Runners turn their render distance to 5 chunks and do the shift + f3 to pull up the pie chart. Then you pull up the block entities on your pie chart and look around in a 360. When the block entities shows up then you know you have a chest in your viewing range. Most of the time it's a ship wreck, a dungeon, or a mineshaft. You can find some videos of it on yt :D
is that how pie chart works? doesn’t it show the loaded block entities, not just the ones that are in your view range.
set rd to 2, check for chests that are loaded
entity culling disables the pie chart(kinda, the necessary part needed for pie ray and mapless treasure).
the thing that i was thinking about is how speedrunners always find the buried treasure without mistaking the pie chart spike for a mob spawner or maybe a mineshaft. there is a way to be more precise with the mapless start?
the concept is simple first you must find a beach yes i said a beach not a desert if u cant find a beach just try finding an ocean, then activate F3 and below the X/Y/Z there is Block then what we find below block is Chunks now the chunks must be at 9 13 9 then if you somehow managed to get to 9 13 9 just dig straight down for the treasure
why are you responding to this thread? It's be inactive for 5 months and the question was already answered.
