No I did not. I spawned in the nether with a fortress and a bastion actually connected right next to me. I threw a literal wr seed because I'm so bad. I have probably died to the dragon around 8 or so times, sub various times (1 hour, 50 min, 40 min, ect.)

Uh no. I died without getting the credits. Also, I just did another run, I got another nether spawn not too far from another fortress connected to a bastion. And I threw that too somehow.

If you don't get to the end credits it doesn't count. On bedrock and older versions if u are in the portal and die u still get the credits but not in newer versions sadly

no it doesn't. what do you think this is, a fucking dream manhunt? read the rules before asking questions like these - it clearly states that the player must pass through the end portal post-dragon kill and receive the end credits before the run is stopped.
