How do I beat this in the minigame coaster? There has to be some trick I’m missing….

I hold the controller really close to my chest and use my middle and index fingers. It's completely different from normal mashing. My PB in domination is 177 whereas I am terrible at mecha marathon. It's really just use middle and index fingers and tense up your arm so it shakes and pray the AI does bad
