Recently, there was a somewhat significant rule change in the then well-known category "Any% No Major Skips/Any% Glitchless". The most significant change in the rules was regarding the item behind the rock in Back to the Beach. Previously, it was allowed to obtain this item by skipping the section where you have to destroy two rocks with Gloria using a chain of peppers. After careful consideration and a vote through a strawpoll (https://strawpoll.com/PKgl3RVDJnp/results), the majority decided that the rule set would now be based on not skipping this section anymore.

The main issue revolved around the fact that, in the old rule set, skips were prohibited, but they were less influential than the Gloria skip in Back to the Beach. As an example, the skip in Coming of Age (specifically, the 2nd wall skip/2nd coconut shootout) was cited. Subsequently, we had the option to either ban both skips or allow both skips. However, the more sensible choice was to ban both skips to prevent Any% No Skips from becoming Any% 2.0 as the category should distinguish itself from the other. Allowing both skips would have compromised the essence of the category.

We have already updated the leaderboard, and the Any% NMS or Any% Glitchless runs that utilized this skip have been moved to the Any% category. Additionally, we have renamed the category from "Any% No Major Skips" to "Any% No Skips" to better represent the actual essence and purpose of the category.
