This glitch makes it so you can be on your broom and cast a normal spell cast among other things which could be extremely helpful in late parts of speedruns

This is known about, unfortunately we haven't found any real applications yet. The problem is that most combat (which is where you use spells and such) happen in caves, which are no flying zones, and even the few that happen outside caves often have "no flying" because you need to follow/escort and NPC.
