So I see Demolition14’s WR run of Star Allies Go uses Beetley, but why? (S)He also states in the description that Como might be faster, but what makes those two so good?

(S) Beetley, Como and Knuckle Joe all have the the fastest level layouts out Como might be faster just because he's better at fighting, but his movement is slower so maybe not. Knuckle Joe is awful in the air

Also what makes Birdon now better than Beetley or Como?

Birdon can go very fast even without Meta Knight, so you don't have to rely on riding MK the entire run. He's also far better at fighting bosses.

Ok then why not Blade Knight, he can move even faster than meta Knight and can fight bosses even better than birdon.

First of all probably route.

Second of all Blade Knight does not move faster. Shuttle loop thingy move with Fire Meta Knight is faster or just dashing with bluster meta knight. (i dont really know the answer but there is no way blade knight is faster than meta knight in movement)

Bluster Sword actually is slightly faster than Fire shuttle Looping. Ofc it's pretty bad since you can only use it in the ground, and Wind MK's Dash attack works fine. Also, Sword is horrendous for fighting

Well meta Knight bluster air spin is the third best fighting technique in the game, and the sword equivalent seems very similar. (But I haven’t tested the damage output so I’m not 100% sure, but it seems like bluster sword would be a good option)
