Hey guys, I've recently picked up the game and from watching the videos it seems like the emulators and 360/PS3 versions are way different. Should they be split into their own categories?
The game is essentially the same, The only difference between the retro arcade version and the ps3/xb360 ports are updated hud on the consoles, and the coin system on the consoles will not allow you to coin up early.
So if you put the videos of your run in 6P UCB up side by side with snakesoldier's, it is a different set of enemies and screen transitions. I actually submitted a run from PS3 Japanese 6P Expert that matches up with your run enemy for enemy. The UCB version plays quite a bit faster. Not a problem not splitting the category since there are so few runners, just wanted to suggest the difference.
Hello guys it seem that the game on arcade and console are diferents so i will make the changes
In console there is not 2 Player mode right? because i only see 4 and 6 player cabinet so i can delete the 2player on console.
cool cool, I didn't really pay close attention I suppose I thought they were the same, my apologies
i was thinking about that too 1 cc but it have to be well done for example on arcade it have to be on default settings, on console it have to be on default too i need more info on console settings so we can confirm that the runners use that settings. And it have to be show the settings on the run.
Showing the settings on Console would be pretty easy, though a little obnoxious since it would probably need to be shown before every run. I'm trying to think what a good CC limit would be. Are we thinking per stage CC use or lose, or total amount?
1 cc is complete the entire game with only 1 credit, but the thing is the last stage because you have to beat all boss again and together this time i think that is the hard part if you think you can do that i will put that category. But i am gonna try to do that too .
Can we please get a Co-op category? I have an already completed run for the 6 player UCB rom version. Lets start with the 3 players first. Thanks.
