Found the answer from the Speedrun discord. PS2 NG and NG+ have their own seeds

If I soft reset do the seeds start at frame 1 again? I was trying ro practice routing while using seeds for the first time and nothing ever matches up right (and I have a list of the first 999 seeds...)
