Yeah we know about that one. It's used a couple of times in various runs - the first that comes to mind is when the camera looks at the airplane in ch4. A lot of the locations where those sort of cutaways happen aren't super useful sadly (and I believe there's some known about but not yet in a run).
Keep up the glitch hunting, never know when you might find something groundbreaking!
The clip is annoying, just need to practice to get better at it.
The checkpoint thing happens because we're skipping so much that the game doesn't know where to restart you to. If you die on the balconies the only thing you can do if you want to continue the run is to save and load. Most people just reset if they die there.
The rule of thumb is to not turn your camera around after clipping. Follow that rule and the game should never crash there.
Important distinction. Triggering all the cutscenes seems more in the spirit of the category, i.e. seeing all the story. Would be more limiting on skips but also offer a good viewing experience, and maybe unique skips that would be obsolete otherwise. I could honestly go either way on this one.
Good explanation. One thing I'll add is regarding different controller mappings. I personally have aim/fire mapped to L1/R1 which I find better personally due to the shorter travel distance of L1 compared to L2. Also you can use the built in PS4 controller re-mapper. I know some will map aim to a face button. Whatever works for each person works.
Hello again Mr.Doo.
Please familiarize yourself with the material before replying. Mimpi grammar is completely different from any other grammar you might be familiar with from your studies of discrete mathematics and gene drive models.
May the pets be ever on your pupper, Os S. Kari
Agree with Hutch. Messing around with the skylaunches is fine, but don't get discouraged from running the game if you have a hard time. Only Erims' run does the launches and Hutch's run doesn't do a 30 second timesave in ch5. You can get a really good time without launches or even the infamous puzzle skip.
I think only Erims knows how to do those. He has videos with inputs on his YouTube. Not sure if they are unlisted or not
This leaderboard is only the "official" one because we all agree it is. If your run is the fastest recorded run on crushing, then it is crushing world record. Regardless whether there's a category or not.
I don't think anyone has shown interest in running crushing before. No reason to add the category if no-one wants to run it.
If you still need mods I am willing. check the site regularly.
Now that I think of it might be better to improvise and get a more fundamental understanding of how the bosses and dm skips work. Thanks, Lifion :)
Thanks for the response salad. I've played this game casually once a year since it came out so I think lack of enjoyment is not a problem :). Good to know that I can at least start on PAL. Should also be able to practise non-PAL strats on emulator (only load times are affected, right?) until I get myself a NTSC copy.
Hey, I'm trying to decide which version of kh2 to run. Was just wondering if it's viable to run on PAL since that's the version that I have and grew up with.
Thanks, osskari
Also, every wall is different and you start learning what get's you through each wall the easiest, i.e different angles and different speeds of mashing. So if you are having trouble with any individual clip, I suggest that you try different stuff.
