@Baldtolo colors, retro and sunglass codes are fine. big head and flat spyro are not allowed

5 japanese runners total including yourself. while not being a lot that is enough runners to have a vote without having a tie. if you can not even be bothered to do the simple task of asking your fellow japanese runners then there isnt much help that can be done. when we voted on the GLT in the TWN version we took a majority vote of the people who ran the TWN version. if the tool is to be allowed for the JP the same thing must be done.

i agree with symm here koma. from what i was seeing during the voting process on the forums here it seemed as if the majority of JP runners did not want the tool to be allowed in the first place. the best course of action is for you to gather a vote of JP runners (again not just japanese people but runners in general) and see if the popular vote is to allow the tool for the JP version. once that is done then we will know where the stance is and either allow the tool if they want it or continue to leave it banned if they do not.

@WitchRain mainly because none of the active runners or potentially active runners such as myself want the rest of the RNG to be effected. the adaptation to the RNG in a run is what makes re3 unique as a speedgame. the main goal is to just eliminate monotonous resets

honestly the best course of action is saving somewhere close to waste nemmy and practicing the fight for awhile. i havent watched it but im sure orchlons tutorial goes over in detail how the fight works and what to do. i dont recommend learning ultra safety strats that will hurt your muscle memory in a small time frame.

put the practice in and the pb will be more rewarding believe me

@Kris_NagaXIV if you are using the autosplitter for this game then it will be automatic you wont need to hit a button to start/split/end your timer

im with magnoozl here. the drama and personal attacks that happen on these forums is ridiculous. there is no place for that anywhere. while i wont run the category if 2+ people want to run it then it has every right to be added to a leaderboard or a category extension. (these are the stipulations for a few of the games i run) look beyond the "free world record" bullshit that has become the theme and the meme within this community some people just like to have the times on a leaderboard for others to compare against. everyone needs to realize that not everyone speedruns to get a record. some people do it as a hobby me included ill learn a speedrun just because i think tech in the game is cool and seeing where i am compared to others and helping to push others i see streaming a game i run to do better even if its better then me is awesome. dont belittle your fellow runners encourage and grow

its stupid to continually argue this. the boards are seperated now. the amount of runners on each are even. just play the fucking game or dont quit acting like children

theres no way to beat ct nemmy passively you have to kill him. other then that acid valves at waste nemmy dont do actual health damage to him but im not sure on beating final nemmy

there is no need to add another category. if you want to run shotgun% by all means do but i do not think it will be added onto the leaderboards as a category. ng+ has so few runners as is

@the_t_virus im talking with someone about making save states a possibility for ease of practice. since rng is determined on door loads just save state before the door and just go to town

steven it has to be NG+ inf rl is not in the game by itself

dishonored 1 modifies the .ini file heavily to allow for an fps based glitch to be achieved. saving around 30 secs if i remember correctly.

normally altering .ini's isnt a big thing but i mention this one because it alters things in the configuration that alter the game pretty significantly not a "mod" persay but it is still altering the game to do something that can not be obtained without it

it absolutely loses igt if you sit there in reset. this game is based off of IGT yes? to simply say sorry but go speedrun another game if you dont want to deal with it is absolutely close minded. i love this game and have since it has came out to simply say go run another game is silly

also there absolutely is a "middle ground" there are speedgames out there that have allowed the use of mods they are still RTA not TAS

@perviousnine we are not suggesting removing all rng which is not what we want at all. just the gl/magnum rng gone. there is still plenty of rng in the other 40 minutes of the game
