Below is the complete map for anyone who wants to find an even better route, or anything of the sort:
Yeah haha. If you aim at the root, left side of the tree, it is pretty consistent, although it barely saves any time at all :)
I find it easier to jump towards the left side; there is a small rock (behind it there's its family and a branch). You just need to get past that rock (the trigger is basically right on the rock, so you should be safe past it).
??? sas1ska :D
Btw. KaZurt, prepare thyself for a surprise! :D
Thanks! Interestingly enough, there are two more ways to achieve the same:
-
Jump from the same position, this time you do a jump for the stairs; you can jump high enough to avoid the trigger.
-
You jump from where the two pigeons are (just behind this jumping platform), to reach the cable car (the one for opening the big door). [You can also reach the cable car by doing either a double jump off the ledge just by where the cable car is; or you can do an easier jump from the vase below the ledge (no double jump required) and do an OP jump from there].
Once you are in the cable car, you let him off on the other side and let Asterix walk around the whole thing to reach the opening.
Btw. If you could somehow get Asterix in the cable car to reach the pressure plate, one'd be skipping the whole Brutus quarters part! Anyways, cool stuff right here!
Thanks. You also wanted to run Any%2P? I think sub 1:15 is possible.
