As long as you can record the cabinet's screen, so we can watch the run, yes, please!
Well, anyone can say "I did this and that time" but without a video, mostly if it's WR, how can we verify that it's true ? I'm sorry but a video required here. You can do like FLUXDreamcasitor88, who currently has the DC Any% Console WR, by filming your screen or tv with a phone or a camera. I highly recommand Youtube to share your runs, because Twitch already showed in the past that they were bad at keeping very old videos.
Hi
I'm pretty sure that current emulators already has savestates, I saw it on demul, maybe redream has it too. For slowdowns, I have no idea. I quickly checked tasvideos.org and it seems that there is no dedicated TAS emulator for the Dreamcast at the moment.
Sorry for the late answer I completely missed the notification of your message. You are right about the console split, it's about loading times. At first I separeted consoles because I didn't wanted to remove loading times, but I still was considering to do it. Then I played the PS2 version and I noticed something a bit different from the DC version. The collision with the metal beam seems to be more brutal on PS2 than on DC version. So seeing that, I felt that the game was a bit modified when it was ported to ps2, and this is enough to me to keep a console split because there might be more differents things that I'm not still aware of. DC -> PS2 -> I don't own the game cube version (yet) so I don't know well how this one is running.
SinnoSonic, I use this trick in my run... And I'm probably not the only one Also it's the strat you'll want to use if you play with Knuckles.
I still don't know how you can play s3k on ps3 ;)
I haven't made these maps, someone shared it on discord without any sources or names. About TM2, it's Patafoin's work.
I guess this will help http://www.mediafire.com/file/8nfhz836003iuaj/Mania_maps.rar
