To clarify: The line-up that yields me 1900+ups on the first try will consistently yield me 540ups after reloading the save.

I am currently practicing the testchamber skip and i've been getting it down pretty consistently over the last couple of days. Today, however, only the first try will yield me enough speed to complete the skip. After reloading my speed will literally always be stuck at 540ups. I haven't changed any settings and it's the first time this has happened.

Any reason why this suddenly might be occuring? I have the technique down consistently enough to where i can confidently say it's not about the line-up of the cart.

Just save/load when you're in the window or waiting in the room itself. I had this problem as well and only happens if you don't save/load before leaving the room with the lasers.
