So I now do the final boss with the controller + keyboard strat and it seems pretty great but does anyone know the exact timing required on parries of different kinds? I am sure it depends on how fast something is moving but I wasn't sure if anyone took time to look frame by frame or ask the devs about it. If I can ever get Hourglass working I want to check all of this stuff out but "Hourglass" + "working" is a good joke. Thanks in advance!

I also just realized it wouldn't be "any%" if it is "true ending" so drop the "any%" part (for the category), that was silly and it is just second nature to add "any%" to every category ever :3c

I just finished this game not too long ago and I have a real interest in routing this. I have no experience in routing RPG's (previously only ran/helped route platformers) but hopefully I have enough insight into the game to make it worth while (at least maybe make this game 100% more active :3c ). If anyone has suggestions though let me know!
I plan on first doing "Any% NG, True Ending w/o DLC". Category sounds kinda meme but I don't like using DLC so ¯_(ツ)_/¯
I guess this was mainly to get my foot in the door and get conversations rolling. I will make a Google doc when I start (most likely tonight) and will keep people interested in this updated as I move along.

kirkq: Yeah, it would take a lot of work for sure. Even though all of that, I think the payoff to the work would be well worth it. Being able to interact to the runner (even if it is one-way) with a comment section feels pretty good (both in leaving a comment and getting one). Not trying to say this is a feel good hippy community thing but it does make game leaderboards feel more like a "community resource" and less like just an archive of records. With, what looks like, PM'ing coming soon this also seems like it would be a logical step to getting people more connected in each series/game. Moderation is a completely different beast. Runners could moderate their own comments but really it would make sense for moderators to do it. If they are one in the same then I have no idea, probably just let them moderate anyway though. You could even turn off comment sections when you submit a video, these things are not terribly hard to implement (since the structure is already in place). Just a thought. Sorry if I am being a pest but it really is something that I think would positively add to the site. Thanks!
Sorry if this was mentioned before (went through a few pages of posts but I didn't see it, then laziness got the best of me) but have you ever considered a "commenting" section? I will use the MMRTA boards as a reference (http://megamanleaderboards.net/). When you log in your can post a comment (just individual congrats, ASCII faces, shit memes or whatever else you want) attached to the run. It would be separate from the forums since that should be a place where more game related things should take place (strat discussion, rule changes and other things rather than personal messages). While I know that Twitter is a great "solution" to this it might be nice to actually have it attached to the run itself since that is what draws attention. Once again, sorry if this was mentioned before or if there is a similar solution but I am just too dumb to see it :<

Yeah, I actually talked to Shineeyo, I am going to use his 4:30 no glitch run. It is JP but glitchless. I also have a JP copy but I am inept at dealing with moonrunes so I will refrain from that. Not very interested in any% glitched. Thanks though! Also I totally didn't expect anyone to respond to this let alone so quickly D: Thanks Ghoul!
I feel like this is not a good question but since I am struggling ¯_(ツ)_/¯ I went to those boards to see the latest glitchless run (which according to Google Translate's flawless translation it is the second table). I tried clicking both links next to the time and it either sends me to their latest stream or to the user's profile. Can someone try pointing me in the general direction of the run itself (since apparently I am inept at finding it). I am looking at the 4:20 run. I am doing it for the 12 hour challenge so hopefully someone can reply before that starts :3c
