In theory it should be possible with planks, because they also displace you the same way nitro/bombs/ and boosters do. Maybe someone who is better at the game than me can find a way

Set up certainly needs work, but will this do?

found that you can shove yourself through walls by placing nitro/rocket boosters/planks* on top of yourself and getting yourself stuck. Don't think it's going to be useful because walls don't really matter in this game, but thought you should know.

*I couldn't do it with just planks, but they can help get you stuck in the right place before you use boosters to get through

any of you have any idea what happened here? three characters all died at once when they backed into one of the slanted walls in the abandoned temple of baa

I found out if you make a save while sitting on the stool in the japan alley (the one where you pit out food) and load that save when you push the spacebar to get off the stool you go back to the entrance. Right now it just looks like a weird quirky thing but you never know what will be useful later
