Better late than never Allu :)
Welcome aboard and may RNG bless you!
Hey @lawz123 hope you're well! :)
Favorite game is a tied between FF7 and ALTTP, I'm an old head and I grew up on those!
Welcome aboard, good luck on your runs. BlessRNG
Welcome aboard buddy! I'm retro gamer myself, old school is best.
Howdy GoldenGemGames welcome aboard and good luck on your runs!
If need any help, let us know!
Welcome aboard Luvuli, tear Gladius apart dude! PaRappa the Rapper, I haven't heard of that in ages, I used to love that series. (How about Um Jammer Lammy?)
Welcome aboard Courtemanche437! Puzzle games are fun, I played a lot of Tetris and Columns growing up, which seem like the precursors to Bejeweled. Good luck on your runs buddy!
Sub 11:40 in Kirby's Dream Land for me, took me over 2500 attempts if recall. I'm slow on the uptake I suppose.
I used a similar setup in the past with an easy cap. It certainly works (particularly with retro consoles, with newer ones I haven't tested) and cost about $20 to get it up and running.
Firstly welcome aboard! "Play what you enjoy playing and can grind over and over and over again without getting tired of it"- that's the stock answer your going to get from most people.
A short game is subjective, but I'll assume you mean between 15-30 minutes. That said, Kirby's Dream Land for Game Boy has a big community and is easy to pick up and learn. Another one that might be of interest to you is Super Mario Land 2 for Game Boy, it's a little bit more difficult, but still times around 30 minutes don't take too long to achieve. Good luck on your runs!
Mega Man 1-6 Mega Man X 1-3, Zelda 1-3. Super Mario World 1-2.
That'll keep you busy for a while, and are just phenomenal games IMO.
Mega Man 11 released today (super hype, looks fun)! Even though I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this question, I'm going to ask it anyways so it's on record.
Is there any purpose in me submitting a time and requesting a leaderboard or are we going to defer again to MML?
I'm not trying to open up a debate on why we should or shouldn't, or beat a dead horse since the subject of the rest of the series has been covered ad nauseum. I'm only trying to figure out if we are going to start tracking this game from day 1 to eliminate the need for technical stuff from MML.
Welcome to the crew wilderjoe good luck on your runs buddy!
Welcome aboard, explore the leader boards and find a game that you'd enjoy! Most importantly, have fun :)
Welcome aboard @ZacWattusHD! I hope you enjoy learning Doom, I haven't tried the 2016 version yet.
The rules and resources specifically for that game should be here https://www.speedrun.com/d2016
