Hey so I don't know much about this game but I did just get my code for the switch version, it says HD in the title but I'm pretty sure it is the same as the PC version, is anyone else more knowledgeable about this? There's also a PS4 and Xbox One version being out soonish.
It honestly isn't that hard to moderate a leaderboard when you are already moderating an inferior site's leaderboard. How long until somebody finally puts these categories up?
So I'm definitely considering running this game after I just finished my first playthrough on casual, but that makes me wonder...will there be sub-categories for any% seperating difficulties? For example, newcomer would be quite faster because you could damage boost a lot of things.
Putting this to question interest. Basically any% but with required amount of moons in each kingdom, but post-game...meaning: You'd need to get a counter of: skip cap 5 Moons in cascade 16 in Sand 8 in Lake 16 in Wooded skip cloud 10 in Lost 20 in Metro 10 in Snow 10 in Seaside 18 in Luncheon 3 in Ruined 8 in Bowser's Just defeating Bowser/Escape painting in moon ... You'd be able to use checkpoints, however, shop moons are banned because of coins and duping, moons must not be collected before the start, or somewhat progressed such as the seed moons, and overall would cause a counter in the moons, allowing for moon crate moons, making it much shorter, and making areas like ruined super short. Basically the idea would be have a slow any% file before, so you can get all the fast moons. Kind of a random idea I thought of, just wondering who would be interested in this sort of thing. The moons would be not collected already to make it easier to track the number of moons in the kingdom, and it can be any moons you have not collected yet in the kingdom in a finished game file. Thoughts?
If you finish a run for example, and reset and do another run, some text may be skipped like the opening cutscene with Kazuma, hell text, or just some text loading a second or so faster before a boss. What do you think?
You literally can boot up the game, start a file, then go to main menu and you would skip the kazuma cutscene. The rest may save only like 5 seconds on switch considering cutscene skipping on switch, but PC has to mash.
What do you think? Should PC have to re-open? Should Steam have to re-open?
Personally I think Switch takes a bit to re-open and it doesn't take much time out if you replay in your session for the next run if you reset. What do you think? I want Switch to be able to just go back into runs without going to home menu, but let me know what you think! (Cutscene skip would skip almost all that time).
I can't speak for the Steam community, as I don't run that.
Let me know your thoughts.
I tried skipping stasis knowing that it isn't necessary anywhere else, but this happened. Regardless of what happens, you'll need the runes. Thought it was interesting and maybe some parts of it could be useful for running it.
Having this error, thought I should mention so it can be fixed if it isn't just me. https://imgur.com/a/K9GTu
