so i was speedrunning Outlast glitchless and accidently did a glitch, and it's very difficult to repeat this glitch. at 35:16 the jump to the stairs was a bit odd, instead of jumping, Miles just walks in the air and climbs the stairs, i think it saves time, only a tiny bit though.

Just completed the game and would love to learn to speedrun this game. i've noticed that uhTrance does it in a slightly different style which is why i would like to follow uhTrance's speedrun and copy his strats, but how do you unlock those weapons which he uses? can't find out anywhere - please write the name of the guns uhTrance uses and write how it is obtained, i would really appreciate that

I am a new runner to outlast and am learning how to do glitchless, am i allowed to just move as soon as i gain control or must i wait for the "objective" text to vanish then move? i have almost learned how to speedrun glitchless and am so nearly there, expect crappy runs from me to verify

i am learning how to speedrun Glitchless on ps4, and have noticed that in certain parts, randomly the game crashes for a bit then the loading screen shows for about 3 seconds in some places. one of the places is the sewer area just after pressing circle to crouch to go through a pipe, then the loading screen comes. this waste time, and overall, throughout the speedrun i waste about 15-25 seconds. is it allowed to pause the timer here, how did you ps4 speedrunners cope with this? is there a fix?

i came up with another cool challenge if anybody is interested in. wrote notes and strats on the video which is just a TAS demonstrating how the challenge would look like. do you think it's a good idea?

Hello everybody! i stream RE2 often now and i love it. when i get a PB, i end the recording and when i'm about to upload i check how big the file size is, and usually it's about 16 GB!! LMAO these runs take me almost all day to upload LOL

i stream and record in 1080p and my bitrate is 40000 for recording and 3500 for streaming. please can you share your bitrate settings and give me an idea of the lowest possible bitrate that still makes RE2 speedruns look crisp. thank you, Loan Shark Joe

Basically i came up with a crazy idea of a speedrun, where every jump must by backwards, meaning every jump must face the opposite direction of which mario is travelling! bad idea? let me know your thoughts please.

hello everybody i love speedrunning re4 on ps4 and am very good at it! but there is a streaming issue and i wonder if you ps4 speedrunners also experience it!

there is no game volume option on ps4 version? the volume is way too loud and i can't stream with my voice because the game music and sound effects are just so damn loud that nobody can hear my voice in my live streams. is there a way to decrease game volume and how do you do it on ps4 version?

when you go past the sewers and onto the train before killing birkin, the game freezes and there are like 200 Leons shown and the screen goes black. does that happen to anybody? it's usually just after the sewer area of the game playing Leon A

read the description of the video, it explains exactly why it was a disaster. my advice is to make sure you kill the molded before the one that's in the "Travis" locker. i got so unlucky and this happened

hello moderators! i have been playing Daughters DLC and i just wanted to ask when does the timer start and when does it end?

i used to think it was that the timer starts as soon as zoe says "they haven't said" and ends when Evie says "sisterrr" please let me know because i think that method is wrong now

i literally feel like ripping my hair out, for about 4 months i have been playing Leon A and am trying to get my first speedrun, but i always encounter issues, please can you help on this issue i have now, the issues just keep on coming and i am starting to lose my patience. also found a new problem where the music mutes by itslef, it says Sound Error or something, if anybody knows how to fix please let me know! i really want to speedrun this game

ok so i made a nice run where i get 0 kills, 0 deaths, 0 items but 1 coin, and that 1 coin is more impressive than the jump you do to avoid it.

also, for level 4-1 i think, the world record time is 340, and i beat it and got 341 on the timer:

you know the bit where billy just rushes through like 3 naked zombies while rebecca just stays at the door? having real trouble.

please can you tell me your ways of doing that dodge, or if it fails, what's the backup becuase this is where my runs fail. all the way up to here, and it's quite frustrating

it's me again so sorry to keep writing dumb questions, but i have an issue with the tyrant fight that rebecca takes part in. i've had a look at all of your speedruns and you guys just hold down fire and he dies without inflicting damage, for me, he keeps swiping at me. is this fight random? i am playing on normal mode

hello moderators, i have been practising this game for ages now, i finally nailed down train and training area, took me so long but i finally did it

i am now at training area (after bat boss) and have 2 issues.

1 when i change to rebecca after using the item lift, soon, billy gets attacked by a zombie and calls for help to rebecca, the question is, is this happenning becuase i am not going fast enough? as in, am i not picking up items and running in the rooms fast enough? (am still a beginner in this bit)

2. becuase of my shotgun issue, i somtimes don't have enough shotgun ammo to kill the zombies that get in rebecca's way, so is it a reset run pretty much if i fail those 2 vital shots? somtimes i don't have enough shotgun ammo to kill these zombies.

ok so i am learning how to speedrun this game and i have to say, i really appricate the time you guys put into this, i am having a very difficult time learning all the steps and speedrunning routes and zombie dodges

though i have a question, i have been learning from uhTrance, who performed an awesome speedrun of this. for Centipede fight, i shoot him 5 times with shotgun, change to grenade launcher and shoot him 6 times (after walking foward a few steps) then i change to shot gun and shoot 2 more times. i have noticed that uhTrance gets the kill after the 2nd shotgun shot, and i don't yet i copyied his strat. i am playing on ps4 so are there boss differences across consoles?

i've been speedrunning leon a now, but at the end of the attempts i keep getting killed by Birkin. this happened 10 times in a row (no joke)

i ran to His right side and stood on the "p" and shot until he transformed, (no damage taken)

then he jumped on the thing, then he jumped at me and as soon as he attacked me, he did a wall jump and landed on me and i died again.

is this wall jump a glitch? he sort of gets stuck on the wall for a few seconds, i have the footage but it's of the entire speedrun so you will need to skip to the end.

getting fed up of dying at the very end
