What exactly are the first and last frames of the timing? I would assume time starts on the frame the screen starts to fade after pressing the Start button, is that correct? The timer on the current WR stops once the screen has fully faded to white after going to Santa-san. Is the first fully white frame where timing stops? It would be really helpful for future runners to specifiy the exact frames in the rules.
Can somebody please explain how to get onto the first elevator after scaring the cloud away with the music note? Here's the part of the run I'm talking about with a timestamp:
On of the games I moderate the WR history graph is not showing up. The chart is there but the graph isn't. Any idea why? The game in question is Wholesome Slaughter.
I made a category with a variable. When I click on the leaderboard the run (which is currently the only run on the board) doesn't show up and it says "There are no runs." However, if I select "Filter -> [Variable Name] -> Any" the runs shows up. Does anybody know why the run isn't showing per default and how to fix this? I don't want people who don't know about variable filters to think the leaderboard is empty.
EDIT: After setting the variable used in the run to Default in the Variables settings, the run shows up per default. Problem solved. Keeping this thread in case other people have the same issue.
The rules of Any% don't say anything about the number of players. Does this mean I can play the game with a second player and still submit to the Any% category? If so, could you please add the option to input two player names? If not, will you consider making a new category for two players?

Comment: This Tool-Assisted Speedrun (TAS) was made with BizHawk on 14 June 2021. The main reason it is so much faster than the current world record (3:36) are the textboxes which can be skipped way faster in the TAS than by human inputs. It's not a perfect TAS because there are still some frames to be saved but for now I probably won't update it. I hope you enjoy.

Comment: Yesterday I said I probably won't update my old Tool-Assisted Speedrun of this game but here we are. Saving a quarter of a second feels like an eternity in the TAS universe. 15 frames have been saved. Enjoy!

Comment: Thanks to a movement optimisation strat by YoungThunfisch and AmnesiaSilence I was able to save 40 frames in the second segment of the game! I really wonder if we can find any more timesaves. What an awesome day for this game. A new runner, several World Records and Personal Bests, human time brought down from 3:36 to 3:32 and the 3:27 barrier broken for the TAS time. Amazing!

As of 27th of June 2021 all runs will be timed with milliseconds. Runs submitted before this decision was made have been re-timed to add milliseconds retrospectively. To ensure consistent timing, all runs will be re-timed by a moderator. This means you can leave the milliseconds blank when submitting a run.
Today, a runner got an untied WR for a game I moderate. They submitted their time, I verified it, all good. A while later I tied that WR since we only use full seconds on the leaderboard. I submitted my run and verified it. In the WR progression graph of the game they are listed as the WR holder for today since they got the time first. But for some reason I am on top of the leaderboard. Isn't usually the person on top who got the WR first? Is this a bug?
After clearing up some confusion about the game mechanics and putting in hours of work I can finally present my new Tool-Assisted Speedrun (TAS) for "DMG Deals Damage", this time featuring both (!) hands. 😅
You might ask yourself why I made a "Left Hand Only TAS". As a challenge? Just for fun? The thruth is, I had no idea you could use both hands until today. I'm currently working on another TAS that makes full use of both of the Game Boy's hands. Until then, enjoy this one:
If you have ever lost a PB or even a WR due to your wireless controller's battery dying during your run I'd love to hear your stories.
We have a Bibi Blocksberg Speedrunning Discord, feel free to join if you have any questions about the runs, wanna share strategies, hang out with other Bibi runners and more:
Is there a way to make custom world record (or PB) progression graphs like the ones you see on the "Statistics" page of a SRC game page? I'd like to make a graph with all my PBs of several games from the same franchise but I couldn't find any solutions through the search engine of my choice so I hope somebody here can provide an answer.
The current WR for "Any% Glitchless Toree" was done with Tasty, I assume that's an error?!
The link to the Discord server has expired, can you please provide a new link?
Could somebody please explain how to execute the Level Skip Glitch?
Honest question because I really don't get it: why is it viewed so negatively to reactivate threads which are older than a year or more? People often say you should rather make a new thread than "necro" an old thread about the same topic. Why?
Is it somehow possible to "split up" your splits during a run? What I mean is: I want to run a game where two of the endings are 99% the same gameplay-wise. You even have to perform the same action to trigger the different endings. But which ending you will get - either the good ending or the bad ending - is pretty much RNG (at least to my current knowledge) and you only get to know which ending you'll get shortly before ending the run. So my question is: can I set up LiveSplit in such a way that I can "switch" to Good/Bad ending splits depending on which ending I get without losing the split times up to that point? Thanks in advance.
I couldn't find the answer to this question anywhere: which platform do I select in my submission when I played Pokémon Red on Gambatte Emulator?
Edit: Nevermind, I just found the answer here: "Emulator runs should be submitted with GBA as the platform, with the emulator option checked"
