SupporterI am extremely happy with almost all the changes to the table layout. I love that stuff like misc and sub category aren't hidden in drop down menus anymore (I especially love the way misc categories are handled now. Looks REALLY nice and shows everything clearly, without a drop down that disappears when clicking elsewhere which was really annoying before). I also love how you can right click to open a run in new tab, when clicking on most places (there's still a few places that open the games background image but that's probably just a bug). I also love that you can finally see all the games variables on mobile.
I will say that on mobile while horizontal is great, vertical still is a little awkward, the usernames always take up about half the screen on mobile. I like how you can scroll horizontally through the variables on mobile if they don't all fit on the screen, but I do wish that usernames would also scroll as well, rather than being permanently attached to the left side of the screen. But again, massive improvement on the mobile site. I can actually see what platforms runs are done on, on mobile (very useful when game shopping).
There's only one change I'm not a fan of and one thing I think still needs improvement.
The order of the variables as they show up on the page used to be Player, Time, Platform, Custom variables, Date, if the run has video. The order now is Player, if the run dosn't have video, description, time, date, platform, Custom variables.
I would personally prefer if the icons for if run has no video, and description were moved to the very right (like video was before). Also I think date should come after platform and custom variables. It seems very awkward to me that date is before platform and custom now and I think it makes a lot more sense and is more convenient where it was. Right after Platform and Custom variables, and right before the video (and now description) icons. (also I don't think the description icon is completely necessary)
The other thing is I would still like to see the board fill the entire screen horizontally when the theirs extra space in the window (mostly for 16:9 Desktop, not a problem on mobile or if you make window half size.) There is still a lot of empty space on the left and right of the screen that could be utilized by either making the table longer, or scaling the whole thing up. The text is still a little small for me personally, and seeing that empty space just makes me think it could easily be a bit bigger. When zooming in my web browser to 120% it looks a lot better to me.
What would be even better than that though, would be having top bar with game title, cover, platforms, navigation, etc, move to the left side of the screen, where there's a lot of empty space. It would allow more runs to show when scrolled at the top and you'd be able to see game info and navigation ALL the time, (rather than scrolling all the way up to see that info or navigate, especially annoying on large leaderboards)
Anyways, besides those small things, I'm extremely happy with the direction the new layout is taking, and I'm excited to see what comes next.
PC and Xbox are separated into different categorys. So PC runs don't compete with Xbox runs.
It's not possible to delete the dialogue on the xbox 360 version, without modifying the game files (which is not allowed and would require a modded console). Deleting dialogue files is only done on the PC version for runs.
If that was to become a category, it would most likely be on the category extensions. However at this time I don't think many people would actually run it. Feel free to run it yourself though.
though it was a good idea at the time but I do agree, (PS2/PSP) makes a lot more sense. I requested the name to be changed, so it should hopefully be changed soon. Thank you!!!
