I actually like that idea. Having it as an IL and having all 12 characters as a separate IL category
survival challenge is just an endless fight. there's really no point to track high scores on speedrun leaderboard, but 100 cover challenge is p cool to add as a category, however you can just abuse nonon or ragyo and basically always ensure an almost perfect time
watched one of the switch runs and there seems to be a bit of lag yeah. it's not super big tho from what I saw and that amount of lag can prob happen on the slower playstation models and slower PCs. I don't run on switch so I don't know what the game feels like to play with the lag.
Just wanna add to the a and b thing that if those are to be removed the best way to go about the category order is most likely to have the difficulties and possibly all s-ranks as the main categories and have the character storylines as variables. If you would do characters as main categories you would run into problems with the blindfolded category whereas with difficulties you can just have blindfolded to be done on a set difficulty like no-star for example. The version you play on can also very easily be a variable if we decide to not merge consoles and pc.

I don't want to be rude or anything but I've been moderating different speedrun leaderboards for some time and have plenty of experience in the field so I have a couple of questions about the moderation: First of all why is part B a category? You're just starting from the cutscene after you beat the first fight. I feel like this offers absolutely nothing as a category and I wonder why it's even there. Secondly I want to ask why the consoles are the upper categories and not satsuki, ryuko and satsuki and ryuko for example? This makes the board look worse and is really bad on livesplit because the categories listed are literally just the consoles and you need to go to additional details to get the actual categories. In general I don't really see why the categories should be split just because of load times. PS4's have a pro version aswell as a normal version aswell as an option for ssd and hdd which all have different loading times. Not to mention inconsistencies with different PCs. You could very easily just put all the console runs on the same board and just filter by console to see the console rankings. When there's no concrete difference between the versions such as a pc exclusive skip for example there's really no point in splitting boards based on consoles as you can compare the fights 1 to 1 by just starting the comparison on when the fight starts and end it on the finish screen, which gives you an accurate comparison to the WR even on console. Obviously the load times are going to be bad enough to the point you can't get WR but you can still do the filter thing I mentioned to see the console WR. Also there was a guy on the forums that complained about the rules being confusing and was not answered. I have to agree with him and I feel like the rules can be made much clearer. I also feel like all S-ranks could be a good category to add as a sort of a 100% style category. I don't care if it's on boards or not but other people might like it to be on there. If you guys mod me I can do all of these changes without you guys having to worry about it, but I understand if you chose to do them yourself. I do however think that most of these changes are warranted and probably should be put in place. Another thing that would be good to do is a discord for the game. the game can be very confusing to learn and being able to ask top runners tips would be very good.

Also I want to add that in it's core being a moderator isn't all that fun as you have to mostly just retime runs that are being submitted down to the millisecond and sometimes argue with people about rules. It's only for people who really want to see the game and it's leaderboard grow and be the best possible version of itself.
it's 100% but without the need to collect the last gold bricks that you have to buy from the hub. the last one can only be purchased after 13h of playtime meaning that it's impossible to beat the game 100% in under 13h. this category exists just to give an actually competitive 100% category
Been doing some runs of this game and I would suggest adding all the individual save points except the autoscrollers as ILs so that there would be something else to run and not just any%. So intro, both parts of temple, both parts of mexico, both parts of Venice, return to city and maybe final boss.
Hi. I've noticed that the mod team isn't very active in the lego community anymore now that TSG has moved on. I would suggest adding some new mods for the game and I feel like paxo is the number 1 candidate. I would also love to be a mod for this game as I've ran it in the past and as I'm also a mod for lego harry potter year 1-4.
iirc rac 1 is kinda fast on pstv aswell
