Greetings, i make this post regarding a forum post i did 1 year ago on SA Leaderboards about a proposal that apparently seems to be a potential addition for Category Extensions in GTA San Andreas.

The category in question that i was formerly requesting to add was called "All Races", this was mainly thought to be 4 categories; LS, SF, LV and LV Air Races. The main challenge of this category is to complete all the races on the "pack" of races in a row at the fastest time possible, without any specific order, hence you can choose to start from the hardest one and go on with the next ones, having to complete all of them in order to finish the run.

With "pack" i mean the pack of races that each city gives to you to complete.

Before requesting the category again i asked some runners again their thoughts about the category and if they can run it again, i had a couple of conclusions after this since the first thought i had about this category is to be included as IL on the main leaderboard, so the same principle as the individual races would apply in this case, this means you can do bloodbowl glitch to get 0 traffic in order to complete easily the races, this is a full run example by the runner @Kanwa who offered his time to test the run to see if it was interesting enough, i know mods have the last word on it but i firmly believe this can be really fun and interesting.

This also means that you could start the run with max driving skill, i would lie if i try to explain what differences will this make on the run or if is a strong point to reject the suggestion, mods have last word on that too.

I really hope this can brought some attention to CE mods since races are something really interesting these days with a bunch of runners enjoying their time competing for best times on MTA, i agree we already have IL races to satisfy that need but this is more a consistency test than a grind one, thanks for reading and i would love to read any opinion about this!

Greetings, the purpose of this thread is to talk about the decision about deleting segments from SA Memes leaderboard, decision that im fully agree since the arguments for it were really fair.

Though lately, especially for NMG tournament that is taking place, i noticed that most of NMG segments were really competitive in terms of how many people is running them and trying to optimize the segment as far as they can, especially in Badlands and (Dupeless) Los Santos.

No Major Glitches category has been growing exponentially and the community behind the players that lead the fastest times in those leaderboards has been prove that the segments could be a interesting, competitive and fun way to improve your gameplay through the segments.

My proposal for all this is to integrate NMG segments to current SA Memes leaderboards to document all these times that in my opinion can represent a really competitive challenge for these players that are looking to improve their times in NMG.

Back to the reason why Any% Segments were deleted, bcuz of the giant changes that Any% route were suffering, in case of No Major Glitches, there's not going to be a change that big, so integrating the sentence "Run must follow No Major Glitches route without any setup that doesnt respect RTA gameplay" (sorry to phrase it poorly but you get my point) doesnt seems like a really crazy idea to put into rules, easy to follow, and as an idea, making RTA saves for each segment, and integrate them into the rules is a good way to make sure that every run will be fair.

For the timmings i suggest:

Badlands: Start at triggering the marker of Badlands Mission / Ends at the end of Are You Going To San Fierro?

San Fierro: Start at skipping Wear Flowers in Your Hair Cutscene / Ends at Yay Ka Boom Boom end.

Desert: Start at skipping Monster cutscene / Ends at Stowaway end.

Las Venturas: Start at skipping Fender Ketchup cutscene / Ends at A Home in The Hills end.

RTLS: Start at skipping Vertical Bird cutscene / Ends at firetruck falling from the bridge at end of the game.

I would love to know if you agree or dont with adding NMG segments to meme leaderboards, i'm sorry if this sounds any stupid but i genuinelly think its a great idea and could be really competitive, thanks for reading!

Hey, with a few IL runners we had a discussion about suggesting a new category that could be really interesting for IL's in SA, since we already have full Schools in IL's, why not have LS Races/LV Races/Air Races/SF Races at once as IL, we though this is a good IL idea, the timming would start at selecting the First Race (it doesn't matter the order) and finish until the last race is done, since every of them have autosplitter afaik.

We did a few attempts of LS Races to timming the times in LS Races since you do races like "Badlands A" "Badlands B" "Lowrider Race" which are "mission" races that you do in the runs with different cars, in this case Badlands A with Sabre, Badlands B with ZR, and Lowrider Race with Blade, we have videos of the attempts that we did in LS Races to give the mods an idea of how the category should be in our opinion, could be an interesting adition especially for hundo practices where there's some races that you do every of them at once (without counting the collectibles of course)

Why the timming in PC (at least), is when you press the first mission from the menu?

i think is better if the timing was when you gain control of the robot.

Can you add Tetr.io to the Tetris Series? is a very innovant and very fast way to play tetris, also have the common 40 lines, i think it would be a nice game to add to the series
