So why are they low%s on here called low% but for the standalones they are named by their %?
Could you possible rename nsj to no space jump? Just wondering. Reason I ask is because for echoes, if you add no light beam, if would be weird if you called it nlb. Just to create consistency I guess.
Just curious. Anyway you could add those not as popular runs as misc categories (max% x, natural route, other runs)? Or rather think about it?
I'm still going to have to disagree with this. Even if people do know about the runs, they should STILL have run the game or currently run it at least.
I guess I see it as those who are the moderators should run the game (or have run the game) at least.
Is there a need for series mods to Moderate this game? I think (as does the other current runner) feel that only us runners should mod the game. Thoughts?
Ok so I fixed up the categories by using the sub category option. Unfortunately it deleted the runs so you'll you could resubmit. I think this well make things look better
I mean if you want IGT then we can do that but for my runs I will be doing RTA timing because I prefer it. IGT doesn't count door transitions. It may or may not count item fanfare. I think I might test the game timer at some point.
I'd like to know why IGT is the main timing method. Also, I see how this board can be improved a lot.
Still no verification for my Metroid: Confrontation run. I'm pretty sure that the moderator of the game is inactive. His last submission was in October...
Hi, I submitted a run to this game http://www.speedrun.com/metroid_confrontation and my run has not been verified yet. It seems the pmoderator is inactive.
I have a suggestion. Upon looking at the leaderboards, the sidebar on the left is really nice. Everything is neat and clean. Because of how neat it is, I would like to suggest if it would be possible to either remove the category list above the times entirely, or just hide it. Personally, I don't see a need for having it on top and on the side, as it gets rather cluttered. As for misc runs, they can act just like the level board is shown on the left: have a show misc categories button, which then reveals the categories. Thank you.
Fixed it to have milliseconds.
Ok, maybe the last thing wasnt good, but I did give reasons as to why for your request. The amount of runners/runs isnt large enough to make it necessary for more than one mod.
I never once said I didn't want to mod Avanor. Also, other things:
- I am mod of the dkc gbas because I requested the 3 games to be added.
- I am knowledgeable about the DKC SNES games, and the gba games are similar in regards to how categories are defined.
- I actively respond to submissions. If I miss for one day, it's not a big deal. I can handle the submissions as they aren't a lot at once.
- Having more than one mod for the series is kind of unnecessary as it stands. There aren't a whole lot of submissions and the community is really small.
I'm not saying that Avanor shouldn't be mod, but granted the size of the community/run submissions, I don't really see a need. I'm glad avanor and a few others are working on these games, but I don't see that as a reason to need more mods. Also, another feeling I'm getting from this is "I run this game, therefore I should be mod." I dont think its necessary is all.
