The rules of all the categories have been updated to be more clear. While some current runs don't follow the exact rules, they're close enough to the point where they'll be left alone for now, but may be reviewed again in the future. Any new runs must follow the new rules or else they'll not be accepted.
While the rules do suggest that the timer must start/end on specific frames, just try to be as accurate as possible; it'll be corrected by me before being accepted anyway.
It appears that you need to set a specific amount of players for a category. So if I put 2 players, then it'll require someone to put their name and one other, but if I put 3 players then it probably means that 2 player runs won't work. And to create one category for each player count would really be confusing to navigate, and most leaderboards would stay empty. But thanks for the suggestion; perhaps it could work if I did it right.
And thanks for giving an accessible VIP Server link, I'm sure that'll help anyone who doesn't have Robux, or simply doesn't want to spend them just to do a speedrun on something as small as this.
Very late to respond to this, but the run was removed. I don't remember approving it since I assume that was several months ago, but I'll make sure I save any future fast runs in case the proof disappears for any reason.
I'll also take better care of this speedrun.com page as it's something I've neglected simply because of its inactivity.
Exploits are not permitted, glitch category or not. Glitches are simply just anything unintended to give you an advantage in the speedrun, while exploits can be abused and make speedrunning completely pointless, along with breaking Roblox's rules.
I haven't really been active on this website (as shown by the fact that i'm responding over 2 months later) but I'll try checking more often for anything new happening so i can review/do whatever i need to do. I'd like to have more mods but idk anyone who would be interested and that I can trust
Freezedowns aren't a feature in the game currently.
Well, unless you're in a server with security, no. But, it'd have to go under the "multiplayer" category. Well, you don't need one, it's just better to have one. 'Cause you'd need to begin from spawn and when core temp is at 0 C.
Would you like my VIP server? I can give you a link.
@Eggwink I agree with your point of interest being lost and it depending on game. Know any way I could keep the interest going?
@PresJPolk - like the idea, but I'm only a kid and couldn't hand out a cash prize. Most I could do is shout out on my YouTube channel but that's meaningless as I'm not even popular.
Okay, if you don't understand the title, or even if you do, please read this body. I will be referring to: https://www.speedrun.com/Make_a_Cake_Back_for_Seconds#Complete_Cake - in this thread. So, if you click it, you can see that it is on the Complete Cake category, which isn't necessary to say really but I am anyway. As you can see, there are the Mobile and PC categories. If somebody could post how to do this with an image of where I go, that'd be preferred however just telling me should be fine. More specifically, the Retro Obby category I'd like to know how to do. So, in the Retro Obby category, you can choose PC, then Damage or No Damage. You can also choose Mobile, then if you took damage. Anyone know how I do that, as well?
Thanks, Doge Master.
Thank you, ShikenNuggets. I will fix this then perhaps try to advertise it on all my social medias (which isn't much, but I'll get a couple hundred views combined on all of them so I may get a couple). I'll fix it later, I can't be bothered to do much now. XD
Hello everyone,
I recently had my game request for Innovation Labs approved (I did a bit of adding levels to adding full game things bad, I'm gonna sort that out later). However, I am struggling to get the game noticed to speedrunners. The game itself has been played almost 17,000,000 times but I can't seem to get its speedrun.com page noticed. Anyone know how I can promote the page to get more people attempting for World Records?
I just want to actually have fun speed running, going by the "clock" (the world record time). Any good tips? Also, I do not own the game so I cannot advertise the page on the game itself.
