The weird thing is that in the Any% run currently there is always one QTE and that's at the beginning, which I imagine is because a trigger hasn't been crossed. It's weirdly consistent.
What're the specifics of making the toilet at the end? I know you get the cistern, but somehow you can interact with the toilet at quite a distance and use the cistern 3 times to make the toilet. Is it a timing thing or is there something that I am missing?
I will do some tests of IGT and RTA using Xenia, and compare with a top run to see if it's worth it. It might be worth doing if there are specific settings that have to be used and if so the timer should be seen throughout the entire run.
Alright. This info is really interesting. Thanks for clearing that up!
That's quite fair. I imagine the PW in the MGS collection to be more generally stable then the versions on the emulators. I only bring this up since I have had great out-of-the-box success.
Also, out of curiosity, when you mention that the Xenia emulator is not accurate for IGT, did you do a direct comparison with console footage or were there other programs used to help with this?
This isn't guaranteed to be a good idea necessarily, but I do think it's worth mentioning since the Master Collection is coming out soon. Although there is no peace walker yet for the collection (if there ever will be) I have has great success emulating this game on Xenia. It runs exactly like on Xbox, so if there are people that don't have an Xbox this is incredibly convenient.
I understand that it's entirely hardware dependant and not everyone will have the same smooth experience compared to me, but I would say it's a good addition simply for the fact it's plug and play basically.
I assume it is but just to make sure, I have Geom Wars 3 Dimensions evolved, and I don't know how different it is compared to this version, but can runs of dimensions Evolved be submitted here?
