Update on my Dark Witch 2 run.

I've updated the route once more. The new thing I do is to get my speed to max level, and previously I kept it at lvl 3 out of 4. Reason for this is because it's very hard to control your character since increasing speed also increases the already insane Dash in the game. So for safety reasons I kept it like that.

But now I max it and feel comfortable with it. I also made a page for the game. I have yet to update my PB on the page since I have misplaced my USB cable and I've been unable to record my attempts.

My unrecorded pb clocked in at 22:54 with 1 death (old pb is 23:20).

I recently shaved off about 3 min on my Dark Witch 2 run, which also makes it a WR (without New Game+ bonuses).

I haven't made a page for Dark Witch 2 here yet, since as far as I know I'm the only one that does RTA of this game. Japan only uses in-game time.

Do you still need me to make a page for it?

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I did 1 run of Dark Witch 1 off-stream. Ended up about 30 seconds away from my RTA PB. About 20 of those seconds was lost in the boss rush at the end because I'm rusty and forgot how to quick-kill. I'll be able to get back in shape with no problem for this game. And will aim to beat the in-game WR on stream (which is only 3 seconds ahead of my PB).

And I'm also going to explain a bit about the mass housing.

My initial plan was to rent the Helena School (which is located 2min away from HoC). I tried to book this school late Jan/early feb. But I was denied. The explanation I was given was that the school was first booked for the soccer tournament, just like all other schools in Skövde that first weekend. After said tournament there would be no one around at the school that could give us keys or open the doors, because everyone would be on vacation after the tournament was over. There was just no way we could rent this school. 2nd I tried to rent another school called Komvux which is really close to Willy's, but this school was still in use during the summer since it is a school for adults who wants to improve grades that they failed in high school. Kavelbro, the school you slept at was the best option left.

I'm sorry you had to walk so far every night, but this was the best I could get.

This has already been mentioned by several people, but I'm gonna talk about it again. The CLEANING.

A big problem that we've had with all ESA's since 2013 is the lack of thought and structure for the last cleaning days. Last year a LOT of stuff was left behind and undone and the people left around to take care of it was me, Niss3, Grukk and Pipe. Grukk and Pipe could only stick around for about 2h until their train arrive and then it was me and Niss3 who alone had to clean dishes, move tables and chairs, take care of leftover prizes, throw away garbage for another 3-4h.

And sadly this happened again. I had to work at 9am on Tuesday when the ENTIRE venue was supposed to be cleaned. Edenal showed up at work to give me the keys to our storage room and told me that everything had been cleaned and taken care off. "What a relief" I thought to myself. The next day I got a call from one of the janitors at the venue and asked me to come over and take care of the "leftovers". I had no idea what he was talking about. I was only able to arrive on Thursday and to my amazement I found the white couch parked right at the front door, just left there. Next to the couch was a fucking shopping cart from Willy's with garbage from the BBQ still left in it. Ketchup, mustard, snacks...all just sitting there. Right next to the shopping cart was roughly 20 unused garbage bags....Thanks. In Valhall there was a huge stack of mattresses, cables and various garbage. A lot of the cables were Internet cables which apparently was taken from the storage room in the back. How hard would it be to put those back? There was also a big box of s-video cables, I called Edenal and apparently this was throw away stuff. In Freya there was a TV on the staged marked with Edenal's name and phone number that had just been left there. The TV was marked with a X on the screen, meaning it was broken. There were 2 other broken TV's with the same X that someone was nice enough to take care off, why leave this one? The fridges were also filled with a lot of take-away boxes from restaurants, all with old food still in them. Would be nice if you could throw that in the garbage bag next to the fridge next time.

Once again, it was me and Niss3 that had to rent a trailer and take another 3-4h of our day to clean up shit that has simply been left standing.

Seriously, you can't keep doing this. I'm sick of it. 3 years in row it's been like this now, and I'm not going to sign my name on another rent contract for ESA again, it's honestly embarrassing.

My advice for next ESA (if there is one), get some structure on the cleaning day. Make plans months ahead of the event. You can't just wait to the very last day, wing it and leave a bunch of stuff behind.

So unfortunately I was unable to get a full vacation for ESA and I have to work on July 2-5th. My times are: 2nd: 6:30-11:00 3rd: 6:30-15:00 4th: 7:15-17:00 5th: 10:00-18:00 So if my games could be scheduled before these dates or not during graveyard (night/early morning) for 1-4th July that would be very appreciated.

EDIT: I have yet to make a recent run of Uninvited. But I have bought 2 carts for the race, and can promise that the quality of the race will be equal to the Shadowgate runs at previous ESAs.
