Hello !
Since a new special run was updated on the forum, i questioned myself about the actual rules of the game, and i wanted your opinion :
-
Segmented runs are always prohibited, of course. (if really several people really want to run segmented, maybe i could consider making this category)
-
Changing speed (for 1.2 speed) in the menu is now considering cheating. Obvious :p .
-
in the actual rules (not created by myself), it is indicated : "Both single player and multiplayer games are accepted." I'm a little embarassed about that. For me, Multiplayer and not multiplayer campain are nearly a different game, at least it's a different experience. So i'm not agree with that. For me, this rule is too permissive, and i'm considering delete it in the rules. What do you think of that?
-
And last question : do you think create a new category "single player" could be interesting?
Hello there ! 'm happy to say to you i'm the new moderator of the game (nobody there since 7 months apparently :o ), so i will check all your runs. But actually i have 17 runs to check ^^' (and a WR of Any% in it :o ), so it will take time, please be a little more patient :p.
But now it's fine you can submit your PB i will be there :p .
First, here is my game where i need to do changes : https://www.speedrun.com/nine_parchments/full_game
In "Any%" category, i want to create two sub-category : "True Any%" and "Any% Any Character". And in these ones, i want to create the sub-categorys easy, normal, hard and hardcore, like it is already.
I'm quite lost about what to do with the variables...
(an exemple of what i want : https://www.speedrun.com/re1#PC )
Hey guys, i was wondering, for the any% run, should i do the skip of chapter 5 or not? I mean, the any% of this game must be done in glitchless or not? Personaly, i don't like to use glitchs like that, for me it's seems not respectfull to the game, but maybe the any% should be done with all the stuff we have at disposition. Maybe create 2 categories like the chapters seems a good option, i want to have your opinion at his subject.
